Description

The Delfield 3516557 Thermal Expansion Valve is a #3 valve without MOP designed for compatible Delfield reach-in refrigeration systems. It meters liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator according to the cooling load and temperature conditions at the evaporator outlet, the valve is installed in the refrigeration circuit between the liquid supply line and evaporator inlet where it regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator. During operation the sensing element responds to evaporator conditions and adjusts the valve opening to control the amount of refrigerant entering the coil. This metering action works with the compressor and evaporator to maintain the required refrigeration cycle.
