The hinge is inserted into the special slots on the door and frame, which hold the pin in place so that it does not move out of position. This hinge is designed to be installed on commercial ranges to support the door of the oven directly and give it the support to move and position itself correctly. The 1" x 4-1/8" X 0.120" size enables it to fit in the standard range set-ups.
