The Imperial 32232 Door Switch Actuator works by turning on and off the electric circuit that activate the operation of the oven when the door is opened and closed. It makes sure that the power is directed to the heating elements, or safety mechanisms accordingly, based on the location of the door. This actuator is installed in the oven door assembly and it is attached directly to the door switch mechanism so that during door movement, the actuator responds correctly to the electrical signal.
