Southbend PE-185 Magnetic Door Switch

The Southbend PE-185 Magnetic Door Switch detects position through magnetic interaction and changes its electrical contacts when the access panel moves between open and closed positions. As the magnet approaches or moves away from the sensing element, the internal contacts respond and communicate the door status to the connected control circuit. Positioned along the door frame of compatible commercial cooking equipment, the part aligns with a corresponding magnetic section on the panel. Wiring terminals connect the switch to the appliance controls, allowing connected activities to respond to door movement. It is commonly used on commercial systems and foodservice equipment.
