Description

The Vollrath/Idea-Medalie 17070-3 O-Ring 112 is used to create a seal between two mating surfaces by seating in a groove and compressing as the components are held together, limiting the flow of fluids or gases through the joint. On application of pressure, the ring is able to bend to the slot and surfaces around the opening to assist in keeping the seal intact at the point of contact between the components. The dimension is matched with inner diameter and cross-section dimensions to ensure that it fits and is sealed accordingly.
