The Federal Industries SA-1880 Freezer High-Limit Safety Switch/Tube Assembly is a temperature-sensing control part that responds to excessive heat conditions within the unit. The sensing tube detects changes in thermal conditions and transfers that information to the switching mechanism. During normal operation, electrical current passes through the circuit linearly. When a preset limit is reached, the mechanism opens the circuit to stop further temperature rise. This assembly is used within the thermal protection network of compatible equipment, providing an automatic response to abnormal operating conditions and supporting controlled system performance throughout cooling cycles.
