Description

The Fisher Manufacturing FIS71463 Backflow Preventer permits water to travel in a single direction while preventing reverse flow from entering the supply line. An internal check mechanism reacts to pressure changes by closing the passage whenever flow attempts to move backward through the connection. It is installed on compatible commercial water systems with 3/4-inch piping, where it connects between the water source and connected equipment. Made from lead-free stainless steel, the part is designed to match the specified plumbing connections and installation requirements.
