The Vulcan Hart 00-913145-00002 Oven Flame Switch is an essential part to regulate the flame involved in certain culinary procedures. It works through a thermocouple which produces electricity when heated by a pilot light, with the help of which an electromagnetic valve remains open to maintain a continuous flow of gas. In case the pilot light put off, the thermocouple cools and interrupts the gas supply for safety purposes. Step1: Turn off gas supply and disconnect electrical power to the oven.
