The Frymaster FM8030132 Basket Support Rack 12-7/16" X 13-3/4" works by providing a stable and raised structure in the skillet vat to support wire baskets in the cooking process. This metal grid enables the free circulation of hot oil around the submerged foodstuff, and the baskets do not touch the heating elements or the sediment areas at the bottom. The rack is placed flat in the frypot so as to create a level cooking surface to ensure uniform placement of batches. This stainless steel element allows the drainage to be properly drained when the baskets are raised.
