The Frymaster FM809-0171 Thumb Screw 1/4 X 1.37 is used to hold the basket hanger assembly together by threading through the hanger bracket to enable the fryer basket support to be attached in place during use. The knurled head of the thumbscrew allows tightening and loosening of the screw manually. It is mounted on the mounting hole of the hanger and grips the basket hanger in the preferred position. This screw is attached to the basket hanger mechanism of the fryer, and it is placed in such a way that the support parts fit in place and are held firmly in place.
