FWE THERMISTOR-PROBE Thermistor Probe NTC

The FWE THERMISTOR-PROBE Thermistor Probe senses temperature through a resistance-changing element. The NTC indicates, a negative temperature coefficient meaning electrical resistance decreases as the sensed temperature rises. The probe converts, temperature changes into corresponding resistance changes within the connected circuit, allowing the control system to interpret the measured condition. A sensing tip contacts the monitored area, while the lead connects the element with adjoining electrical circuitry. The continuous resistance variation provides temperature data for the associated equipment control system during heated cycles.
