Description

The Ranco G1-2640-35 Thermostat Type K CAP 36" 285-600°F works by the use of a liquid-filled sensing bulb and capillary tube, which responds to changes in thermal conditions and opens or closes an internal mechanical switch to complete or break the electrical circuit. This process of expansion and contraction keeps certain external temperatures within a certain range of 285°C to 600°C. This Type K regulator is installed within the wiring casing of a commercial kitchen appliance or high-heat industrial equipment where the 36-inch capillary is able to access the heat source.
