Description

The Garland CK4601581 Range Flame Failure Valve Assembly works by detecting the pilot fire by using a thermocouple that is connected to it which creates a small electrical current when the ignition is present. This current operates an internal electromagnetic valve, which keeps it open for gas to flow, but when the flame goes out, the current stops and a spring mechanism closes the valve to prevent gas leakage. This part is installed in the inner gas manifold pipes and is usually behind the front control panel of the commercial range.
