Description

The Southbend 6-36C0 Gas Broiler pilot safety valve is designed to manage gas flow by verifying pilot flame operation before supplying fuel to the burner in commercial systems. The valve is fitted with a 1/2" female pipe thread gas connection and a 1/4" compression pilot outlet, which connects to the fryer's pilot tubing. It is installed in the gas control assembly of the fryer and is used in conjunction with a thermocouple to sense the presence of the flame and will automatically shut off if the flame is extinguished.
