The Hoshizaki 4A2974-01 Modular Crescent Cuber pump gasket is used to seal the pump parts together to ensure water does not leak out during the running of the pump. It operates by pressing between the surfaces of mating to create a narrow barrier when the pump assembly is clamped. The gasket goes into the pump housing of the compatible ice machines and it is installed at the junction of the pump sections. It assists the controlled flow of water in the system during production cycles.
