Description

The Garland GL1027097 Safety Magnet Head is a Type J pilot safety magnet head designed for compatible gas ovens and cooking equipment. It features 1/8-inch FPT pilot inlet and outlet connections with adapters for 1/4-inch and 3/16-inch tubing. The head is installed within the gas safety control assembly where it connects the pilot circuit to the associated gas carrier. During operation the pilot flame generates the required thermal signal to hold the magnetic mechanism engaged and permit gas flow through the connected safety system. If the pilot flame is lost the mechanism releases and interrupts the pilot gas circuit.
