The TRUE 801805 41" Evaporator Drain Tube Heater 10W 115V heats the drain line of the evaporator to ensure that the condensate does not freeze by running the electrical power through the heating element of the entire length of the tube. The heater is also controlled to ensure that it maintains a controlled temperature that causes moisture to flow out of the drain system instead of creating ice blockages.
