Description

The Southbend 1161998 Oven High-Limit Thermostat W/Manual Reset measures the temperature of the inside and shuts off the electrical supply when the preset limits are surpassed. The manual reset system does not automatically begin heating once a fault in humidity occurs, but rather it is physically activated again. It is a part that is fitted into the heat control system of the appliance, which is placed close to the heating components or control wiring. It is designed to be connected to the existing electrical connections and it reacts to excessive heat conditions during cooking cycles.
