The Star Mfg 2T-47499 Coffee Brewer High Limit Thermostat operates by measuring the temperature of the brewing system and closing its internal switch when the temperature of the system reaches a predetermined limit, to cut off electrical power to heating components. Once the conditions are restored to acceptable levels, it goes back to enable the normal electrical current to flow again. It is installed in the internal part of the coffee brewer, usually in the area close to the heating parts, where the control of temperature is essential.
