The Imperial 36942 Fryer High Limit Switch is a temperature safety component that is installed in commercial fryers to avoid overheating. It will check the temperature of the oil and cut power to the heating component when it gets to an unsafe operating temperature which can help to maintain safe and consistent cooking conditions. The switch has a sensing bulb of 3 inch by 5/16 inch and a 60 inch capillary tube, which can be accurately placed in the fryer system. It can be fitted directly into the oil reservoir and it operates together with the thermostat and heating components to provide a reliable temperature control and avoid damaging the appliance.
