Hobart 00-111964 Reed Switch

The Hobart 00-111964 Reed Switch operates by using a magnetically actuated contact that opens or closes, an electrical circuit when exposed to a magnetic field. As the associated magnetic component changes position the switch responds by sending a signal to, the equipments control system allowing it to detect operating conditions or component positions. This switch is installed within compatible food preparation equipment usually near doors, guards, covers or moving assemblies that require position monitoring. As part of the electrical sensing system, it provides input used for equipment operation.
