Description

The Hobart 00-936784-00001 Motor Overload Relay is used to monitor the flow of electrical current to a motor and is activated when the load is higher than a predetermined value. It breaks the circuit to prevent overheating by tripping when the excess current continues over a period of time. This element is fitted in the control panel or electrical compartment of compatible equipment where a shield for the motor is required. It is set to reset once the condition has been cleared, and then normal operation can resume.
