Description

The Hoshizaki 4A5161-01 TXV Valve is a thermostatic expansion valve used in refrigeration systems as ice makers and HVAC applications. It controls the amount of refrigerant allowed into the evaporator so that the cooling performance can reach its optimum by strangling off or allowing more in as the changes in temperature and pressure make necessary. The valve is based on a sensing bulb that measures the temperature of the refrigerant this information is used to control the diaphragm to open or close the valve and therefore regulate the flow of the refrigerant. This functionality increases system productivity, protects the compressor from flood or overheat, and supports to maintain the steady cooling and ice making process.
