Manufacturer:
The Blodgett 32265 Electric Hot Surface Igniter DFG works by converting electrical current into heat to light up the gas in the burner assembly of the oven. It functions by heating a heating component, which heats up when it is energized providing the conditions required to initiate gas ignition and the formation of a flame. This igniter is placed close to the burner of the oven and it is part of the ignition system whereby it triggers the combustion process to begin the heating cycle effectively.
