The Star Mfg 2E-Z21560 Infinite Switch 15A 240V is used to turn on and off the heating components of an electric range by varying the amount of electricity flowing depending on the desired position. It controls temperature in a continuous manner that does not have set steps but gradual changes. This switch is fitted behind the range control panel and it is directly connected to the heating element circuits. It is a component of electrical system of the appliance and regulates the amount of power to be supplied to the burners.
