The American Range A14020 Broiler Infrared Burner works by producing high radiant heat using the infrared design, enabling food to cook evenly and attain a browning. It transforms the gas energy into infrared waves that vaporize the surface rapidly and keep the inside moisture, which increases the efficiency of cooking. The IR burner is installed in the broiler furnace of compatible American Range equipment and it provides uniform heat over the cooking surface. It is fitted within the heating system of the unit to provide the right amount of heat distribution in the unit to be used in grilling or broiling.
