The Jackson 6401-003-08-58 Dishwasher Drain Solenoid Kit 115V is an electrically actuated valve assembly that controls the release of wastewater from the drainage line of a system. When ignited, the solenoid coil generates a magnetic field that shifts the internal plunger opening the passage for water to exit the drain pathway. Once power is removed the mechanism returns to its closed position to stop flow. Added at the drain outlet section, the kit coordinates with the wash cycle sequence to manage discharge timing and maintain proper water movement through the system.
