Description

The Lang 2E-31800-04 Circuit Breaker 3-Pole 50A 480V interrupts electrical current when overload, or fault conditions occur, preventing uncontrolled flow through connected power lines. It regulates energy distribution across multiple phases supplying heating and control sections of the system. It interfaces with panel bus connections through terminal lugs that secure incoming and outgoing conductors. Internal switching elements separate circuit continuity when threshold levels are exceeded, isolating downstream parts from upstream supply paths and maintaining controlled electrical segmentation across the system architecture.

Provides overcurrent protection for electrical circuits within commercial cooking equipment. The Lang 2E-31800-04 3-Pole Circuit Breaker interrupts current flow when an overload or short-circuit condition exceeds the rated limit. Rated at 50A and 480V, the breaker disconnects the three connected phases to protect the equipment power circuit and can be reset after the fault condition is cleared.

Equipment Compatibility:
Used with Lang commercial cooking equipment, including 36S, DO36, DO54, ECCO, ECOF, FCOF, LA36, R30S, R60S, RF21S, RT30S, RTC36, TRE36, and other supported models requiring a 50A, 480V, 3-pole circuit breaker.

Product Specifications:
Manufacturer: Lang
SKU: 2E-31800-04
Product Type: 3-Pole Circuit Breaker
Current Rating: 50A
Voltage Rating: 480V

Key Features:

  • Provides overcurrent protection for three-phase electrical circuits.
  • Interrupts current flow during overload or short-circuit conditions.
  • Disconnects all three phases during an overcurrent event.
  • Includes a reset function after the fault condition is cleared.
  • Protects connected electrical circuits within the equipment power system.

The circuit breaker was not providing consistent circuit protection, and replacing it helped restore electrical protection and equipment operation.
