The Traulsen 337-28235-00 Door Plunger Hinge Switch is an electrical switch that is activated when the door is opened or closed to send an electrical signal to the interior lighting or cooling system. It operates by the movement of the door pressing or releasing the plunger to complete or break the circuit to which the system controls are attached. This switch is mounted at the door hinge point or frame where the plunger is in direct contact with the edge of the door when it is used.
