Description

The Southbend 3738-9 Low Level Cut Off responds to a drop in vessel contents by changing the state of its internal electrical contacts. The 4-5/16" dimension establishes the assembly length, positioning the sensing section at a defined point inside the vessel. A 3/8" FPT threaded inlet secures the part to the plumbing connection. The reduced fluid presence alters the sensing mechanism and passes the resulting electrical change toward the control circuit, allowing heating input to be interrupted before the vessel reaches an insufficient fluid condition.
