Description

The Magikitch'N A7022101 Filter Drain Seal Ferrule is a threaded fitting that is installed to give a secure connection in fryer filtration drain assemblies. This ferrule is meant to be applied in a 1-1/4" NPT and is used to provide a tight gap between the drain line and the filtration elements to ensure that no leakages are experienced during the oil transfer and cleaning operations. It is normally used in commercial kitchen fryers, where it is necessary to have good oil filtration to determine the quality of food and the operation of the equipment.

Step1: Turn off fryer, disconnect power, and allow oil to cool completely before starting.

Step2: Remove existing drain ferrule seal and clean the fitting threads thoroughly.

Step3: Inspect mating surfaces for wear or debris to ensure proper sealing performance.

Step4: Align new ferrule seal and hand-thread into drain assembly carefully.

Step5: Tighten evenly with wrench to secure a leak-free connection.

Step6: Restore power and test for leaks at low flow before full operation.
