Description

The Nor-Lake 098779 Thermostatic Expansion Valve meters refrigerant into the evaporator by adjusting the flow in response to temperature changes at the sensing location. The EFSE-1/2-ZP defines the specified configuration supplied with this assembly. An internal sensing mechanism continuously varies the opening to match changing thermal conditions, balancing refrigerant transfer throughout the cooling circuit. Installed between the liquid line and the evaporator inlet it regulates refrigerant entry according to sensed conditions, maintaining the intended distribution across the refrigeration cycle.
