Description

The Nor-Lake 100556 Thermo Expansion Valve controls the flow of refrigerant by reacting to pressure changes in the cooling circuit. These variations at the sensing element will modulate the internal metering mechanism to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator at a given system level. This notation, EFSE-1-C, is for the specific design of the valve to differentiate this metering assembly from others in the same product line. As pressure relationships change between different circuit connections, refrigerant flow automatically changes.
