The Imperial 1160 Convection Oven Thermostat KXT responds to temperature changes within the cooking chamber and provides the temperature-control response required by the heating system. Its 175°F–500°F temperature range supports cooking applications requiring different heat settings. Consistent thermostat response helps maintain stable temperature conditions throughout normal oven operation.

\n

Temperature Sensing:
Detects changes in the oven's internal temperature and provides a corresponding response to the temperature-control mechanism. Accurate sensing allows the thermostat to respond as heat conditions change during cooking.

\n

Temperature Response:
Responds to variations in oven temperature as the cooking chamber heats and cools. This temperature-sensitive operation supports consistent interaction between the thermostat and the oven's heating controls.

\n

Replacement Guidelines:
Replace the Convection Oven Thermostat if it is damaged, worn, unresponsive, or no longer provides accurate temperature control. The part number 1160, 175°F–500°F temperature range, and KXT configuration should be verified before replacement to ensure the correct thermostat is selected. Replace the thermostat if deterioration affects temperature sensing, control response, temperature regulation, or normal oven operation.

\n

Common Failure Symptoms:

\n\n

Equipment Compatibility:
Verify that IMPERIAL part number 1160 matches the equipment documentation before purchasing. Confirm the applicable convection oven configuration, thermostat specifications, and manufacturer parts information. Match the complete oven model number to part number 1160 to confirm the intended application.

\n
