A small pilot ignition component used in commercial gas cooking equipment to help create and maintain the pilot flame that starts the main burner. It is built for use with natural gas and LP systems and connects through a 3/16\" / 1/4\" tube fitting. The left-facing flame design helps position the flame correctly inside the burner area for proper ignition support during operation. It plays an important role in keeping the pilot flame active so the burner can light smoothly during cooking cycles. When the pilot assembly becomes worn or blocked, equipment may fail to ignite or may show unstable flame behavior. Replacing it helps restore normal pilot operation and supports steady burner startup in daily kitchen use.

\n

Equipment Compatibility:
This Imperial pilot assembly is used in commercial cheesemelters, broilers, salamanders, and oven equipment used in professional kitchens. This Cheesemelter Pilot Assembly 1291 is compatible with equipment from Imperial, American Range, and Dynamic Cooking Systems, and more, where stable pilot flame ignition is required for safe operation.

\n

Brand Compatibility:
Replaces multiple part numbers used across various commercial kitchen equipment brands, including Imperial, American Range, and Dynamic Cooking Systems. Complete cross-reference details are listed in the “Replaces Parts” section.

\n
