The valve uses an on/off mechanism to control fuel flow during the heating cycle, allowing gas delivery to be started or stopped as required by the equipment operation. As part of the gas control system, this valve connects the fuel supply with the burner assembly to support controlled combustion operation.

\n

Fuel Delivery:
Controls the movement of gas from the supply connection to the burner assembly through its on/off valve mechanism. The valve changes between the designated open and closed positions according to the equipment's control arrangement, allowing gas to reach the burner when fuel delivery is required and stopping the flow when it is not required. During operation, the valve works within the gas control assembly to establish the appropriate fuel-delivery state for the connected burner. This controlled gas path allows the burner system to receive fuel according to the equipment's specified operating sequence.

\n

Heating Sequence:
Functions within the equipment's heating control arrangement by coordinating gas delivery with the applicable burner sequence. As the valve changes its operating position, it establishes or interrupts the gas path to the burner according to the connected control requirements. This controlled switching action allows gas delivery to correspond with the heating sequence established by the equipment's control system.

\n

Replacement Guidelines:
Replace the APW 2068500 Char Broiler Gas Burner Valve when wear, physical damage, deterioration, or functional failure affects its intended gas-flow control function. Inspect the valve and related burner control components for conditions that could affect control operation. Replace the component when it can no longer maintain its intended function within the equipment's gas control system.

Common Failure Symptoms:

\n\n

Equipment Compatibility:
This gas burner valve is intended for APW commercial cooking equipment that uses part number 2068500. Before ordering, verify the equipment model number, part number, and required specifications before ordering to ensure compatibility.
