The bin control detects changes in the amount of stored ice and provides the corresponding status information to the machine’s control system. When the storage condition reaches the designated level, the control system can pause ice production. As ice is removed, the component supports recognition of the available storage condition so the ice-making cycle can resume.

\n

Ice Level Monitoring:
Detecting changes in the amount of ice stored in the bin, the bin control provides ice-level status information to the control system. When the stored ice reaches the designated level, the control system can pause ice production. As the ice level decreases, updated status information allows the system to recognize that additional ice production is required.

\n

Ice Production Control:
Connecting the storage condition with the ice maker’s production sequence, the bin control provides an input that helps determine whether ice-making activity should continue or be suspended. This control interaction allows the machine to respond to changes in available storage capacity during normal operation.

\n

Replacement Guidelines:
Replace the Hoshizaki 2A8598G01 Bin Control when the existing component no longer provides the required ice-level control function or when its condition prevents proper operation. Select the replacement by matching the bin control configuration, connections, and equipment requirements of the existing component.

\n

Common Failure Symptoms:

\n\n

Equipment Compatibility:
Designed for use with Hoshizaki commercial ice machines that use the corresponding bin-control configuration. Verify the equipment model, connection arrangement, and 2A8598G01 part number before selecting the OEM component.
