The Imperial 37061 Oven Spark Module generates the electrical output required to create a spark at the pilot assembly during burner startup. It coordinates spark timing with the ignition sequence and associated gas-control components. Operating at 120V, 50/60Hz, the module supports controlled pilot ignition when the oven calls for heat. Its operation helps establish the pilot flame before normal burner operation begins.

\n

Spark Generation and Signal Control:
Receives an electrical signal from the oven control system and produces the output required for spark generation. The module controls the timing of the ignition spark during the startup sequence. Proper signal and spark generation support reliable pilot ignition.

\n

Ignition System Integration:
Works with the pilot assembly, gas valve, flame-sensing components, and oven controls during burner startup. The module initiates the spark sequence when heating is requested and supports the transition toward burner operation after pilot ignition.

\n

Replacement Guidelines:
Replace the Oven Spark Module if it is damaged, fails to generate reliable ignition, operates intermittently, or no longer provides proper pilot ignition control. The part number 37061, 1/2" × 52" configuration, 120V voltage rating, 50/60Hz frequency, and AK50 designation should be verified before replacement to ensure the correct spark module is selected. Replace the module if deterioration affects ignition response, electrical connection, spark operation, or normal oven operation.

\n

Common Failure Symptoms:

\n\n

Equipment Application:
Verify that IMPERIAL part number 37061 matches the equipment documentation before purchasing. Confirm the applicable oven or range configuration, intermittent pilot ignition control specifications, and manufacturer parts information. Imperial documentation lists 37061 as an intermittent pilot ignition control for applicable equipment configurations.
