The Vulcan Hart 00-418051-00055 Burner Orifice Valve #55 LP regulates the flow of liquid propane gas to a burner by creating an opening of an appropriate size that limits the flow to the correct size of flame and application. The calibrated hole in the orifice allows the gas to pass through it, and the volume that is delivered at a certain pressure to burn properly. It fits in the gas train of the burner assembly if compatible. This opening is used in applications made to that size of the commercial range and ovens of size #55.
