The Vulcan Hart 00-418051-00057 Range Open Top Burner Orifice is used to control the quantity of gases entering the burner by controlling the quantity of gas delivered through an aperture of a given size. It pushes the fuel into the burner assembly to ensure an adequate supply of air-to-gas mixture to start burning and a constant development of flame. The orifice is placed on the burner inlet and threaded into the connection with the manifold to coordinate with the gas supply system. It aids in attaining stable performance in commercial cooking equipment.
