It operates by regulating the amount of gas that passes to the burner to aid in the proper mixing of air and fuel. The orifice fitting is screwed in the gas inlet of compatible range burners and is threaded into the manifold. This auxiliary component is incorporated into the delivery system of the gas, which ensures the regulated flow of fuel to maintain the burner in a stable condition.
