The Frymaster 8261356 Orifice 72 operates on the concept of metering gas to a small calibrated opening in order to regulate the flow of fuel flowing into the burner. The opening is used to shape the gas stream in a manner that it combines with air before ignition. It is located at the gas inlet of the burner tube of a fryer. One can screw it into an equivalent valve or manifold port with the 1/8" MPT threads. The gas is passed through the opening and moves down the burner to be lit.
