The Montague 1590-3 Convection Oven Rack 25.87" X 26.75" is used to hold cookware and foodstuffs within the appliance cavity by providing a flat and open grid surface to allow circulation of heat. It glides on the rack, and the interior walls and tray pans are firmly attached to it during the baking or roasting processes. The rack is placed in the horizontal position inside the oven chamber and is front-to-back and left-to-right to fit the stated dimensions. This positioning will provide even heat distribution during the cooking process and easy in and out in compatible models of the oven.
