The Garland 1028288 Oven Pilot Assembly activates the main burner, by supplying a constant flame which starts the flow of gas when the oven is switched on. It works by keeping a small constant pilot flame, which makes the main burners light safely and efficiently. This assembly is designed to be installed in the burner compartment of a commercial or residential oven with the pilot flame being placed next to the main gas inlet. It is usually fitted at the front or side of the cavity of the oven and it is compatible with the current ignition system.
