The Vulcan Hart 00-706771-0000A Pilot Assembly W/Nut & Sleeve controls the flow of gas to the burner to ignite it with a 3/16" tubing connection. It is 5-1/4" by 2" long and wide with a nut and sleeve to install. The assembly is placed in the burner system of the appliance, where the pilot flame is placed to ignite the main burner. Its design allows the contact of the spark with the gas to be consistent, which allows the burner to be lit.
