The Vulcan Hart 00-706771-0000A Top Burner Pilot is used to start the main burner by maintaining a pilot flame that is used to start the gas when the fryer is switched on. It is directly linked to the gas supply line and pilot assembly of the fryer, so that the fuel flow is steady to provide ignition. The pilot is fitted to the top burner section of fryer and is fitted in such a manner that it is directly at the center of the main burner, and provides a uniform start of the flame during the cooking process and is able to continue functioning throughout the cooking cycle.
