The American Range A29206 Pilot Tube & Tip Assembly supplies gas in the main supply to the pilot burner in a gas appliance. It works by directing a limited amount of gas to the pilot flame which heats up the main burners when necessary. The tube is laid between the gas manifold and the pilot assembly, and stabilized with fittings to have a closed connection. which is synchronized with the pilot burner, main gas valves, and safeties to provide ensure ignition, appropriate functioning of the flame, and safe functioning of the appliance.
