The Garland CK1032617 Top Lighter Tube 1/8" OD x 17" Long directs gas out of the main supply to the ignition region, forming a continuous flame along the length of the tube. It works by letting the gas pass through its hollow interior, where it is ignited at the tip, which starts the flame of the burner. The tube is mounted above the burner and is parallel to the cooking surface, and is connected to the gas without additional fittings. Which helps to maintain the same operation during the cooking process.
