The Pitco B6700609-CL Temperature Probe Service Kit is used to check the temperature of the oil and relay the signal to the control system of the appliance to maintain the correct temperature. It has a sensing part that detects heat in the frypot and sends the information via the wiring that is attached to it when it is in operation. The probe kit is fitted to commercial fryers that are compatible and the sensing end of the probe is placed in the oil or close to the heating area so that it can be measured.
