The Zurn PN400-5B-STR Drain Cover 5" directs water and other liquids into the drain and does not allow larger objects to enter the piping system. It works by directing the liquid through the slotted holes, which enables it to pass downwards to the drain underneath. This cover is fitted to the floor, and it covers the drain opening such that the edges of the cover fit into the frame of the grate around it. The size and shape are made to fit in the standard 5-inch floor drains and fit in the existing drainage system.
