Description

The Precision Metal 248-091S Upper Platen Kit operates by passing high intensity thermal energy through a heating element to provide uniform top-down searing to sandwiches and proteins. Internal electrical coils transform energy into radiant heat that is spread on the flat metallic surface to provide equal contact with food items. It is a component that is fitted directly into the upper housing of a commercial contact plate, and it is the main heated pressing surface.
